Annik Dufour

Annik Dufour (M.Ost) is a Swiss/British national registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC). She is a graduate of the British School of Osteopathy (now called the University College of Osteopathy) and treats patients of all ages.

Annik’s holistic approach to Osteopathy is informed by a cross-disciplinary medical background gained in hospitals and private clinics; managing disabled and post-operative patients, cardiovascular and neurological health rehabilitation and physiotherapy.  She also has special interest, experience and skills in support of expecting mothers and treating infants and children.

With a dedicated and diligent approach, Annik offers effective treatments which are delivered with care and compassion. All treatments are supported with appropriate recommended advice and/or Yoga or Pilates exercises and stretches.

Annik originally comes from Switzerland. She enjoys skiing, walking and swimming. She loves the outdoors and misses the mountains! She’s kept very busy with her 2 little boys who have given her first hand appreciation of the stresses and strains of not only pregnancy but also of parenthood!

I have found Annik's expertise really helpful over the years she has been treating me.  I have various physical issues that she helps me keep on top of to maintain an active lifestyle and she also suggests exercises to carry out after the session to continue improvement. Annik is friendly, very competent and her expertise is tops. If you need help, she is the person to go to.

Patrick Luppi

Patrick qualified from the University College of Osteopathy (formerly the British School of Osteopathy) in 2007 and has been treating patients in his private practice and at University since. In addition, he is an experienced faculty member of university institutions in the UK, France and Italy, working as a Lecturer, Practice Educator and Assessor. Furthermore, Patrick is an assessor for the osteopathic UK regulatory body General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and is also a member of the Institute of Osteopathy (iO). He is registered with most private healthcare insurance providers.

He employs various techniques and consultation skills adapted to multiple presentations and complexity. Through personal experience, osteopathic models of health and techniques, Patrick helps patients overcome pain and regain function from recent incidents or persisting problems. With his understanding of human physiology, anatomy and psychology, Patrick can recognise the factors that can influence and prevent recovery. He advocates for preventative medicine and will assess, when appropriate, the patient's general health to engage in a multidisciplinary care pathway. He understands the limitations of Osteopathy and will not hesitate to refer his patients when necessary.

From 17, Patrick had to learn techniques and strategies to cope with physical and emotional pain when he sustained a life-threatening motorbike accident that left him with chronic persistent pain and PTSD. These challenges and personal life experiences have proven invaluable experiences for his career and personal growth. He realised that "we all are much more resilient than we think, and with appropriate direction and support, we can surmount difficult situations".

Patrick has been a major part of my life and wellbeing for well over 10 years – he is very special man, as well as being an amazing osteopath, he has some of life’s special qualities, the ability to listen, offer great advice and is very caring and kind, I always feel lifted afterwards and I'm blessed to be a patient.

Fatimah Ayoade

Fatimah is a highly experienced and skilled osteopath who has dedicated her career to paediatric care and the general population. Since graduating from The University College of Osteopathy (UCO) in 2015, she has specialized in treating babies and children, which has given her the opportunity to teach in the UCO postgraduate paediatric clinic. She has also completed the PgCert in Academic and Clinical Education, a teaching qualification that she uses to guide the next generation of osteopaths and healthcare practitioners both within the UCO clinic and patient care department.

In addition to her work at UCO, Fatimah has spent several years working in a multidisciplinary clinic in Kent, where she has treated patients of all ages with acute, chronic, and debilitating conditions. Her team included podiatrists, acupuncturists, and other osteopaths, which allowed for a collaborative and holistic approach to patient care.

Fatimah has an MSc in Biomedical Sciences, which she obtained prior to becoming an osteopath. She is passionate about helping patients with their health and recovery, and she is committed to helping both patients and future osteopaths reach their full potential. With her special experience and skills, Fatimah is a valuable asset to any healthcare team.

Following a traumatic injury resulting in a broken neck, Fatimah listened attentively to my concerns and conducted a thorough assessment of my overall health and well-being as well as thoroughly understanding the specific details of my injury. Her gentle yet effective techniques helped alleviate my pain and she provided me with valuable guidance on exercises, stretches, and lifestyle modifications to improve my mobility. Her compassionate approach really made me feel supported throughout the entire treatment process.
